My qualifications are MBBS (QLD) FRANZCOG. During my training I was awarded the Crown Street Medal and the St Margaret’s Hospital Medal for presentations, and the highest exam mark in Australia.
I have consulted from the rooms at the Wesley Medical Centre since 2000, and have 2-3 operating sessions each week at the Wesley.
Dr Anna Burrows will see all routine gynaecologic patients from the age of 17 years. My areas commonly dealt with include:
- Pap tests and Colposcopy for abnormal Pap tests
- Laparoscopy for
- Medical and surgical management of menorrhagia including
- Diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy (including fibroid resection)
- Mirena insertion
- Endometrial ablation
- Hysterectomy
- Management of post coital, intermenstrual, and post-menopausal bleeding problems
- Contraception
- Menopause
